Mr. Palumbo is the Chief Legal Officer and the VP of Real Estate Development for the Manhattan Building Company.

As Chief Legal Officer, Mr. Palumbo oversees the company's Legal Department with a focus on long-term strategy, including minimizing the company's legal risks by advising the company's President on all major legal and regulatory issues. As VP of Real Estate Development, Mr. Palumbo plays a key role in leading the company's real estate development team by helping oversee project conceptualization, property acquisition, planning, permitting, zoning, market and financial analysis, financing, retail leasing, design and construction. 

Professional Experience

Prior to his time at Manhattan Building Company, Mr. Palumbo was an associate attorney at DeCotiis, Fitzpatrick, Cole & Giblin, LLP, one of New Jersey’s most prominent law firms. At DeCotiis, Mr. Palumbo represented private developers, as well as local and county public agencies in redevelopment projects throughout New Jersey. Mr. Palumbo’s representation at DeCotiis frequently involved complex transactions, requiring interaction among numerous interrelated public and private entities.

Mr. Palumbo graduated from Temple University, where he received his B.A. in Criminal Justice and subsequently attended law school, where he obtained his J.D. in 2014.
